Mountain Jam is an event I look forward to shooting every year for the Times Herald-Record, however ever so sadly I was only able to attend on Friday. And due to a couple slight communication snafus I arrived later than I would've liked, but once I received my press pass and went through the gates all was good in the world again. The music rolled through the hills, hippies both young and old walked through the thoroughfare, hipsters shopped and fans of the music adorned the hill with hula hoops, flower crowns, and Grateful Dead shirts as the bands played on into the cooling night air.
The people of Mountain Jam have always been a laid back and friendly crowd, and whether that's due to the jam band music being played throughout the day or the ever present perfume from Mary Jane, to me, Mountain Jam is always a great experience.
So I'll share a few photos from my day covering the second day of 10th Annual Mountain Jam festival for the Times Herald-Record.
